MIZIZI YA MAISHA YAKO IJENGEKE NDANI YA YESU
WAKOLOSAI 2 :6-7
Hivyo basi, kama vile mlivyompokea Kristo Yesu kuwa Bwana, endeleeni kukaa ndani yake, mkiwa na mizizi, na mmjengwa ndani yake, mkiimarishwa katika imani kama mlivyofundishwa, na kufurika kwa wingi wa shukrani.
Wazo Kuhusu Neno la Leo
“Mpya na Zilizoboreshwa!” Hiyo ndio mbinu inayotumiwa na Wataalamu wa masoko kutangaza bidhaa ya zamani ambazo umaarufu wake umeshuka thamani katika soko. Fanya mabadiliko machache, kisha ingiza upya bidhaa hiyo ya zamani sokoni kama vile ni bidhaa mpya. Paulo anawataka Wakolosai kutambua kuwa Yesu hahitaji kuwa “Mpya na Aliyeboreshwa.” Badala yake, wanahitaji kumfuata Yesu kama Bwana kama walivyofanya awali walipompokea kama Bwana na Mwokozi wa maisha yao na kufanyika kuwa Wakristo. Hilo ndilo hitaji letu pia. Maisha yetu yanapaswa kuwa na mizizi iliyojengwa na kukuzwa katika Kristo Yesu kama Bwana, tukiwa wenye shukrani kwa Mungu kwa karama na zawadi ya neema yake ya ajabu kupitia Mwanawe.
Maombi Yangu
Baba yangu mpendwa na Mungu mwenye nguvu zote, asante kwa zawadi ya neema yako niliyopewa kupitia Yesu Kristo, aliye Bwana na Mwokozi wa maisha yangu. Nisamehe pale ninapokutenda dhambi kwa kufuata mkumbo wa kidunia kwa kutamani yaliyo mapya lakini ambayo ni chukizo mbele zako. Tafadhali yafanye maisha yangu na mwenendo wangu na Yesu Kristo uwe safi na thabiti kila siku. Niimarishe kiimani ili kwamba, hata pale ninapopitia changamoto za kidunia, niweze kusimama na kuzishinda. Niwezeshe kutambua fursa mpya kila siku niamkapo asubuhi, ambazo natakiwa kuzichangamkia na kuzing’ang’ania ili nijiimarishe kiuchumi kwa ajili ya utukufu wa Jina lako, na hivyo kuniwezesha kuishi maisha ya furaha, amani, nguvu na matumaini. Na kwa kufanya hivyo, nishiriki vyema katika kuujenga ufalme wako hapa duniani na kutimiza ahadi yako ya kuwafanya mataifa yote kuwa wanafunzi wako. Katika jina la Yesu ninaomba na kuamini. Amina.
